Profile
Treatment Philosophy
My philosophy starts with meeting people at their current level of understanding of their situation, so that I can better appreciate their concerns and personal goals.
As a medical professional, I do not view myself as someone that “fixes” people, but rather as someone who empowers people to take their health and wellbeing into their own hands.
Pain is a grey area that often time leads to frustration, confusion, and uncertainty. As a PT, I try to help people learn about and understand factors that may be contributing to their painful experience, and identify how they can modify these stressors to achieve a successful outcome.
Recovery from injury is a journey consisting of ups and downs. My job is to help people navigate through the uncertainty, push the needle forward, and successfully work toward meeting their goals.
Why did you choose the field you are in?
When I was in high school, I struggled with my weight and injuries while playing sports. I was bounced around from a number of different medical professionals without any results or answers until I met a PT who gave me a plan emphasizing developing appropriate strength and conditioning qualities. This was the first time a health care professional gave me an actionable plan that held me accountable for my own health, as well as the first time I saw appreciable results. This was empowering for me. It planted
the seed for my career as a PT and my approach to helping people ositively impact their own lives.
Why did you choose Randolph Pain Relief & Wellness Center?
I chose Randolph PRWC because of their patient-centered, integrated approach to healthcare. There is a lot of divide amongst different healthcare professionals in the medical world, which ultimately causes
confusion and hurts patient care. Having multiple practitioners of different backgrounds available to work with and learn from elevates everyone and affords the opportunity for great results.
Why are you passionate about what you do?
I take my role as a medical professional very seriously and do whatever I can to put myself in the best position to help the people that trust me in their journey. I am passionate about what I do because my life’s goal is to leave a positive impact on the world. As a PT, I can do this daily.
